Château de Foncoussieres
Charming bedrooms suites in a lovely castle in Rabastens
The castle
Within a beautiful park with centuries-old trees the Château de Foncoussières was built by the Family de Chastenet de Puységur during the 18th century and has been kept in its original architecture by its various owners.
Le Tarn, Occitanie
The History of this region as well as the diversity and beauty of its landscapes and villages and the kindness of its inhabitants made me love the Tarn region deeply,in the heart of the famous "pays de Cocagne".
Foncoussières
Foncoussières is 1,5km a from the beautiful old village of Rabastens crossed by the Tarn river , elected in the 18th century by the Capitouls of Toulouse as the place to have their secondary houses built.
Church of Notre Dame du Bourg, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, a jewel of the southern Gothic style.
Gate of the Gaillac Vinyard, Rabastens is also equidistant from two beautiful and most interesting cities as Toulouse and Albi (also a UNESCO World Heritage since 2010).
